Acer announced the Revo 100 – Media Center, which offers multimedia capabilities. This device is easy to merge all the home phones and mobile computers around the central repository of multimedia information, and is an ideal home entertainment center.

Acer Revo 100 boasts a stylish black finish, the device can be mounted on a removable vertical stand, or horizontally placed on the table. Included with the Media Center remote control is proposed RevoPad, which can be used as a QWERTY-keyboard touch.

Acer Revo 100 is based on dual-core AMD Athlon II Neo and GPU of the new generation NVIDIA ION to play the video in 1080p Full HD. Media Center is equipped with an internal TV tuner – and a device for recording DVD, or optical drive, BD Combo. BD Combo drive provides smooth playback of 1080p picture when connecting to any HDMI display with the function of 3D. Revo 100 supports up to 4 GB of DDR3 memory and is equipped with hard disk capacity of up to 750 GB, three USB ports, a universal card reader, wireless and wired network modules. Media Center is running the 64-bit version of Windows 7 Home Premium, which allows to use all the features of traditional PCs.

The Acre Revo 100 is now available in the UK for £599.
