LG has unveiled four new Android phones in separate announcements – the Optimus L3, L5 and L7, and Optimus 3D Max or Optimus 3D Cube. Details of all four devices will be fully revealed at MWC 2012. Little is known about the first three LG devices for now, apart from a few key features, and rough availability details. More details about the LG 3D Max were revealed.

Bose India has unveiled two home theater setups in India, both in the soundbar family. In the event in New Delhi, Bose showed off the Lifestyle 135 and the CineMate 1 SR systems. These are the first soundbar type home theater setups from Bose.

RIM has released the BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.0 for download for all tablet users. Even if the OTA notification hasn’t reached your tablet, you can download the PlayBook OS 2.0 if you go to your Settings page, and ask your PlayBook to look for new updates. When a new update alert hits your PlayBook, just accept the terms and conditions, and then start downloading!

Wipro has launched its first Ultrabook, the Wipro e.go Aero Ultra, which it is calling “India’s slimmest and first 14-inch Ultrabook.” It has launched two other 11.6-inch models in its e.go Aero range, namely, the Aero Alpha and Aero Book.

Once again the rumor mill has been right as Barnes & Noble has introduced a new Nook Tablet with lower specs and price. The new Nook features a 8GB built-in storage and half the RAM than its predecessor, and it will be available at the amazing price of $199 which is the same price as the Kindle Fire.
