RIM has released the BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.0 for download for all tablet users. Even if the OTA notification hasn’t reached your tablet, you can download the PlayBook OS 2.0 if you go to your Settings page, and ask your PlayBook to look for new updates. When a new update alert hits your PlayBook, just accept the terms and conditions, and then start downloading!

Once again the rumor mill has been right as Barnes & Noble has introduced a new Nook Tablet with lower specs and price. The new Nook features a 8GB built-in storage and half the RAM than its predecessor, and it will be available at the amazing price of $199 which is the same price as the Kindle Fire.

Archos has just extended its low-cost Arnova tablet line with a new 8-inch sized model dubbed the Arnova 8b G2. For the most part the tablet appears to be much like the existing Arnova 8 G2 which has been on the market for a few months, only the new 8b model has a different looking case design and does away with physical buttons such as home, back, menu and search.
