We’ve recently been hearing of smartphones and tablets with quad-core processors and it hardly seems like any time ago that we were impressed by dual-core processors in devices. Today we’ve heard of another quad-core tablet on the way, this time from HTC and dubbed the HTC Quattro.

The tablet is whispered to come in two different editions, the first one being a 3G and Wi-Fi version whereas the second being an only Wi-Fi version. There is no word on the launching date of device however this tablet could be flashed at the Mobile World Congress in February 2012.
The HTC Quattro will have a 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen display having a display resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels. It will run on Android Ice Cream Sandwich Operating System and powered by NVIDIA Quad-Core Tegra 3 processor. It will work 3G network and is capable of 720p HD with Beats Audio. The device will be accorded with the HTC Scribe pen input technology.
The device supports 1 GB RAM, having an internal memory of 16 GB and supports an external memory of up to 32GB. It will be equipped with a 2 Mega Pixel rear facing camera along with a 1.3 Mega Pixel front-facing camera. In addition this tab will offer the connectivity options of Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, USB port, 3.5mm audio jack and lots more.
