Huawei Tablet PCs Ideos X5 and Ideos X6

Huawei has started selling two new Android smartphone officially presented in October this year, Tablet PCs Ideos X5 and Ideos X6 both of which will come with Android 2.2 Froyo. Unfortunately, at present they are only available in the Australian market.

It is reported that both devices are still running the Android 2.2, but it is expected that soon they can be updated to version 2.3 Gingerbread. As reported by the manufacturer, this should not be up problems because the hardware requirements of the new system are almost the same as Froyo.

Tablet Huawei Ideos X6  is a more expensive device, equipped with 4.1-inch touch screen with WVGA resolution and space technology, as well as HSPA (up to 14,4 Mbps), Wi-Fi, GPS, Dolby Mobile surround, port HDMI, the processor at 1 GHz and 5-megapixel camera with recording HD-video. Ideos X5 has a 3.8-inch WVGA-screen, HSPA, GPS, Wi-Fi and a 5-megapixel camera.

The Huawei Ideos X5 features a slightly smaller display, at 3.8 inches, it also comes with HSPA, integrated 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, A-GPS and a five megapixel camera with built in LED flash.

There are no details on pricing as yet and no information on when these new Android smartphones will go on sale.
