Motorola has unveiled a pair of new Android smartphones, the Motorola MOTOLUXE and Motorola DEFY MINI, headed to Greater China, Europe, and Latin America this spring, with no word on U.S. launch.

The MOTOLUXE features a 4-inch 854 x 480 touchscreen display, an 8-megapixel rear camera, 512MB of RAM, a 1,400 mAh battery and a VGA front-facing camera.

The “life proof” DEFY MINI is water resistant, and dust and shock proof. The device also features a 3.2-inch 480 x 320 display with a 3-megapixel rear camera, a 1,650 mAh battery and a VGA front-facing camera.

Each phone is already available in China as the XT615 (MOTOLUXE) and the XT320 (DEFY MINI), but they’ll arrive in Europe and Latin America (and, in the case of the MOTOLUXE, Greater China) from February. No word on pricing at this stage, beyond the promise that they’re “budget-friendly.”
