Toshiba has announced its first 3D-compatible Blu-ray player, model BDX3100 while the BDX1100 is plain Blu-Ray.

Officially dubbed the BDX3100KB, this Blu-Ray player is supposed to be the last piece of the 3D triumvirate involving a laptop and TV that Toshiba has unleashed upon its UK customer base.
The 3D capable BDX-3100 is going to put up Dolby True HD support, support for HD-JPEG and MP3, as well as a USB port. The BDX-1100, meanwhile, will not offer the 3D or the USB, but will offer everything else, making it plenty worthwhile if you’re not looking to have things jump off the screen at you just yet.
No word yet on pricing, sadly, though the 3100 will clearly be the pricier of the duo, and they’re looking to have these available starting this October.
