Toshiba has unveiled a new tablet,Regza Tablet AT300 runs on Google Android 3.0 operating system, and was first previewed at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) held in January in Las Vegas.

The Regza AT300 is powered by a dual-core Tegra 2 chip from Nvidia. It has a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video chatting and a 5-megapixel rear camera that takes pictures and records video. The 1280-by-800, 720p multi-touch screen features “Toshiba Adaptive Display,” which adjusts the color and brightness of the screen depending on lighting conditions.
The tablet includes USB 2.0, mini USB and SD card ports, as well as an HDMI output for watching video (1080p) on a television. Connectivity support for the 1.7-lb. Regza AT300 includes 802.11n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
It’s set for a late June release in Japan and priced at ¥60,000 or about $725.
